Following a pitch, ANWB has selected content marketing agency MPG to take over the design of the membership magazine Kampioen. Additionally, MPG and its parent agency group Matter will serve as a sparring partner for the further omnichannel development of Kampioen.

Content ambitions of Kampioen

ANWB has great understanding of how content contributes to daily interaction with a large community. Kampioen is a strong brand that drives activation and engagement across various channels with 5.2 million ANWB members. To increase the relevance of Kampioen, ANWB aims to consistently tell Kampioen’s stories across all owned channels, thus expanding its reach and potentially reaching new target audiences.

“We are very pleased to take Kampioen, the largest magazine in the Netherlands, to the next level together with our new partner MPG. We have chosen MPG to further crystallize our vision for the development towards more digital content, shared across a broader mix of channels.”

Kampioen under the wings of Matter and MPG

The focus of the collaboration between MPG and ANWB is primarily on the design of the print Kampioen and the digital Kampioen. Additionally, Matter serves as a sparring partner to utilize Kampioen’s content more broadly. The parties have the ambition to take the next step together in offering personalized and relevant content to ANWB members based on validated data insights.

“We are extremely proud to add ANWB to our portfolio of clients. With ANWB, we will live up to our motto ‘Unlocking your full content potential’. ANWB is a pioneer in content marketing and we look forward to maximizing its potential in an omni-channel manner. ANWB has been on our radar for quite some time, and we are thrilled that we can embark on this transition together with them.”
